This policy explains what personal data I process in connection with the website patrikvavrovic.com, for what purpose, on what legal basis, and what rights you have — in accordance with Regulation (EU) 2016/679 (GDPR) and Slovak Act No. 18/2018 Coll. on the Protection of Personal Data.

1. What data I process and why

Contact form. When you write to me through the form on this site, I process your name, email address, optionally your company name, the selected service (audit, consulting, workshop), and the message text. The purpose is to handle your inquiry and respond to you. The legal basis is your consent (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR), given by checking the consent box when submitting the form, or steps taken at your request prior to entering into a contract (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR).

The form is delivered via FormSubmit, which handles email delivery — it acts as a processor, not an independent controller.

Booking a consultation. If you book a time slot through the embedded calendar, the booking is handled by Calendly (Calendly, LLC), to which you provide your name, email, time zone, and chosen slot directly within the widget. Calendly processes this data under its own privacy policy, available at calendly.com/privacy.

Fonts (Google Fonts). This site loads web fonts from Google's servers. This may result in your IP address being transmitted to Google as the operator of that service.

Analytics (Google Analytics 4). If you allow it in the cookie banner, I use Google Analytics 4 (Google Ireland Limited / Google LLC), which uses cookies (_ga, _ga_*) to record how you use the site: pages visited, visit duration, approximate location, device and browser type. The purpose is to improve the content and performance of the site. The legal basis is your consent (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR and Section 109(8) of Slovak Act No. 452/2021 Coll. on Electronic Communications). Without your consent Google Analytics is not loaded and no cookies are set. You can change or withdraw your consent at any time via the link in the page footer. Google Analytics cookies are kept for up to 14 months. Google may transfer data to the United States; the transfer is safeguarded under Art. 46 GDPR or by certification under the EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework.

This site does not use advertising cookies and does not track your behaviour across the web for advertising purposes.

2. Retention period

I retain data submitted through the contact form only for as long as necessary to handle your inquiry and any follow-up communication, generally no longer than 24 months from our last contact, unless a longer period is required by law (e.g. accounting or tax regulations) should we enter into a business relationship.

3. Recipients and international transfers

I share your data, only to the extent necessary, with the following processors: FormSubmit (form delivery) and Calendly, LLC (booking). Calendly is based in the United States — the transfer is safeguarded by appropriate measures under Article 46 GDPR (in particular standard contractual clauses, or certification under the EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework where applicable).

4. Your rights

• the right to access your personal data,
• the right to rectify inaccurate data,
• the right to erasure ("the right to be forgotten"),
• the right to restrict processing,
• the right to data portability,
• the right to object to processing,
• the right to withdraw consent at any time, without affecting the lawfulness of processing before withdrawal,
• the right to lodge a complaint with the Slovak Data Protection Authority (Úrad na ochranu osobných údajov SR, dataprotection.gov.sk), or with your local supervisory authority.

5. Security

I take reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect your data against unauthorised access, loss, or misuse. I do not sell or share personal data with third parties for marketing purposes.

6. Changes to this policy

I may update this policy from time to time, for example when the tools used on this site change. The current version is always available on this page, along with the date of the last update.
